Rotating Super Structure (RSS) was formed in Jackson Hole Wyoming in the summer of 2007, when a group of childhood friends decided to start making music. The group consists of brothers Shawn and Kyle Fleming (drums and guitar), Victor Pokorny (vocals, guitar, keys) and Bridger Huhn (bass). They cut their debut album “Bouncy Castle” in fall of 2008, which will be released February, 2009.
Before the band started, members had been part of numerous other projects, from indie to jazz and have been fortunate enough to work with members of Jane's Addiction, Bad Company and Galactic to name a few. Only weeks after the band started off they got a gig opening for Los Lonely boys, playing only a few originals and mostly covers.
For the rest of the year RSS began a heavy practice schedule and wrote many songs. Doing gigs around the Jackson area and becoming fairly popular amongst the Jackson population. After a show at the Jackson Hole Art Fair, musician/producer David Halliday approached the band and singed them to his indie record label Lone Peak Sound. The next thing they knew, RSS was at Counterpoint Studios in Salt Lake City Utah cutting a CD with David and Michael Greene.
Rotating Super Structure’s debut album “Bouncy Castle” was released in 2009, and sales have been brisk ever since. It's available on iTunes, Amazon.com, and all your other favorite outlets!
